Job Description:

We currently have an opening for a Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst. This role plays support to our Manager and Vice President level acquisition team members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research potential acquisitions consistent with the company’s long-term acquisition plan
  • Maintain mapping database
  • Maintain contact management system
  • Routinely perform competition analyses to determine appropriate offer prices for targeted land opportunities
  • Maintain tracking parcel search map of viable parcels as well as comparable transactions in surrounding areas
  • Create deal presentation packages for clients
  • Generate market-specific competitive analyses
  • Gather historical data pertinent to land being studied during preliminary evaluation
  • Conduct site-specific research, including community ordinances, zoning, general plans, special requirements of building, engineering and planning departments, wetlands impacts, soils impacts, flood zones, political considerations, easements, availability and capacity of utilities, etc.
  • Assist with all other duties and projects as directed by management
  • Maintain open communication with other division managers and team members and consultants to ensure accurate and timely flow of information.

Qualifications:

  • PC and spreadsheet software proficiency
  • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making capabilities
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks for different divisions simultaneously
  • Adherence to strict timelines to complete projects
  • Strong organizational skills, including planning, scheduling and follow-up capabilities
