Position Overview:
The Resident Experience Manager’s mission is to deliver a singular and unique resident experience. To focus on proactive improvements in processes, procedures, and policies that drive positive results for leasing and resident retention for Auben Realty.
Work Experience Preferred: 2+ years in property management, account management and/or customer service roles in real estate industry.
Overview of Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage prospect applications for available properties.
Oversee and manage the new resident move-in experience:
- Paperwork and deposits
- Lease signing
- Scheduling move-in inspections
- Follow-up communications
Provide guidance and support to residents’ requests, questions and concerns.
Oversee and manage the resident renewal process (including Section 8):
- Analyze renewal reports.
- Create and generate resident renewal offer letters.
- Manage corresponding negotiations and additional paperwork.
Oversee and manage resident move-outs:
- Review Move-Out Instructions with residents who have turned in his/her Notice to Vacate.
- Schedule Move-Out Inspections
- Assess damages and assign appropriate fees, and other charges.
- Coordinate deposit refunds with accounting.
Oversee and manage delinquent or past due accounts:
- Assess late fees and charge appropriately.
- Generate late notices.
- Contact residents in regards to delinquent payments.
- Manage and fill out appropriate eviction paperwork and attend court hearings when necessary.
Applicants should express willingness to work in a team setting. To be successful, REMs must work alongside members in other company departments to include: maintenance and accounting. They should possess strong communication skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve using individual knowledge, and the initiative to seek assistance from team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
